Q. I am interested in becoming a member of the American Business Women’s Association. Where can I join?  
A. Information regarding benefits membership and membership options can be found through the “Membership” menus of our Web site where you can enroll online 
   
Q. Is joining ABWA restricted to certain times of the year?
A. No, you may join ABWA at anytime throughout the year.
   
Q. I am not currently employed and my work is from my home. Am I still qualified to be a member?
A. Yes, ABWA membership is open to everyone whether you are a businesswoman, entrepreneur or a stay-at-home mom who wants to maintain her business connections. 
   
Q. I am currently retired, however I serve as a volunteer in several community-based programs.  Am I eligible for membership?
A. ABWA can be a perfect place to maintain your business skills and gain the experience needed to perform your volunteer duties and/or lead volunteer teams effectively.
   
Q. There is not an active ABWA Chapter or Express Network in my community.  Is it still possible for me to join the Association?
A.

Absolutely!  Don't forget the great opportunities for our national members - networking at District and National Conferences, great discounts through our corporate sponsors, professional development through the Women's Instructional Network, and much more! Joining an ABWA Chapter or Express Network is not a requirement, however if one is available in your community, we encourage you to try it!  If not, you may want to consider starting a new ABWA group in your community. 

   
Q. How can I start a chapter/Express Network in my area?

Starting a new chapter or Express Network of ABWA in your area is a great opportunity to expand your professional network, gain community visibility, and learn some great project and business management skills.
