Meeting Location: Four Winds Farm
3729 N 36th St
Quincy, IL 62301

Program: Four Winds Farm is an 1870?s, 6th generation family-farm owned by Deborah Lee. In the last 15 years, the homestead has evolved into an organic growing area for herbs, vegetables and flowers. And especially, it has become a center for teaching about healthy lifestyle and herbs: medicinal, culinary, wild edible and heritage. The homestead area is dedicated to both agri-tourism and agri-education. Deborah is passionate about mind/body health. She has presented over 4,000 workshops, classes and conference programs across the US and in Europe on Natural Health and Herbs (medicinal, culinary, wild edible and heritage). As a Holistic Health Practitioner and educator, Deborah?s intent is to empower people with tools to transform their life. She lives what she teaches regarding: healthy diet, exercise, positive attitude and a strong spiritual connection. She regularly uses medicinal and culinary herbs. Deborah has a Ph.D. in Nutrition, Masters in Environmental Education, and Bachelors in Psychology. She is an advanced-certified practitioner in both Flower Essence Therapy and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming); also a licensed, ordained Minister. Event cost is $15. The dinner menu is salad, sandwiches, tea and water. You may bring your own wine, beer, etc. Please RSVP by Monday, July 2 to Professional Development Co-Chair, Chris Wiemelt at dwiemelt@att.net.
