The Shining Star Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is offering two $2,000 Impact Scholarships funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Fund to support area students.
Each year, the trustees of the Stephen Bufton Memorial Scholarships (SBMEF) awards scholarships to female students who will be attending accredited U.S. colleges, universities and community/vocational schools. Applicants must be citizens of the United States; women of color, residents of Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas; High School Senior, College Freshman, or Sophomore, Junior or Senior in August, 2017 and with a GPA of (2.5-4.0) or higher.
